For the past year, fantasy stories have been really scratching my brain (and not the spicy kind too). The type to take you into another world and expose you to an imaginative realm beyond your wildest imaginings. These are my top 5 reads for your next fantasy adventure:
#1 The House on the Cerulean Sea - TJ Klune
The world building is relatively simple and easy to follow.
Klune creates such loveable characters each unique with their own stories and motivation. There is no stone left unturned.
Entirely wholesome!
#2 Until We Shatter - Kate Dylan
Enemies to lovers trope!
Teenagers just trying to casually save the world from impending doom.
A mismatched gang attempting to do the impossible in as little time as possible.
#3 Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries - Heather Fawcett

Really, this whole list could be filled with the Emily Wilde series.
Amazing world building and attention to detail.
Another enemies to lovers trope but the enemy part is one sided!
If I could, I would join this fantasy world any day.

#4 Legendborn - Tracy Deonn
Fantastic YA fantasy!
Protagonist fights against the perils of society for the good of all mankind.
All about grief and trauma. Don't let the tears out!
#5 The Priory of the Orange Tree - Samantha Shannon
The story is entirely entrancing, bringing you into the rich lives of its fantasy characters.
The world building is immaculate; every page will lead you to learn more about the world.
Nothing is what it seems!
